Our good friends in the north counteract the bitter chill of winter with this traditional drink, big in flavor, bold in character. Made with prime California raisins, dark Maldivian muscovado, whole Indonesian cinnamon and nutmeg and fermented to complete dryness on toasted American oak, it is free of the troublesome sparkles like a mulled wine. This vinous and spicy hard cider follows a classic recipe dating from early 1600's Colonial America. The raisins are added pre-fermentation and subsequent fresh raisin additions are made every few months over the course of an entire year Serve room temperature.
